Job Title: Primary SEN Assistant

Location: Tower Hamlets Primary School

Job Description:

The London School Alliance is committed to providing high-quality education to children with special educational needs. We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Primary SEN Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with teachers and specialists to provide individualized support to students with Autism, Learning Difficulties, and ADHD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing educational plans and strategies tailored to each child's needs.
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to facilitate learning and personal development.
  • Maintaining clear and accurate records of children's progress and challenges.
  • Collaborating with specialists (e.g., speech therapists, occupational therapists) to support children's individual needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children who have mild to moderate Autism (including non-verbal), Learning Difficulties, and ADHD.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use digital tools to record and track student progress.
