Job Title: Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant
This role is based in a dynamic SEN School catering for students aged 3-11 years with a range of special educational needs.
Location: Woodford area, within commuting distance to major cities.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, 5 days a week, providing consistent support to pupils.
Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum (£29 - £39 per hour), depending on experience, reflecting the importance of this role.
Clear Enhanced DBS required
Duties and Responsibilities:- Maintain a safe and tidy classroom environment, including equipment and resources, ensuring pupil well-being.
- Contribute to record-keeping by documenting observations of pupils during the school day, promoting data-driven decision-making.
- Share knowledge and understanding of students with other school staff to ensure effective support, fostering a collaborative culture.
- Demonstrate positive attitudes, values, and behaviours consistent with the role and expectations, setting a good example for pupils.
- Promote inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities, enriching their educational experience.
- Provide teaching and learning support using appropriate technical resources, adapting to individual pupils' needs.
- Support students with SEN and additional needs to achieve their full potential, helping them reach their goals.
