Job Title: SEN Classroom Assistant

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a SEN Classroom Assistant. The successful candidate will provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in a classroom environment, helping with academic work, reading and telling stories, and assisting with craftwork and activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with SEN in a classroom environment
  • Helping with academic work, reading and telling stories
  • Assisting with craftwork and activities
  • Contributing to overall vision and values of the school

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop valuable skills and experience while making a positive impact on the lives of students.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Achieve GCSE grade C/4 or above in English & Maths
  • Basic Numeracy Skills & Literacy Skills
  • At least 1 year experience of working effectively in a learning/child care setting

Salary and Benefits:

This role offers a salary of £16,500 - £19,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will also receive a Level 3 Teaching Assistant SEND Pathway Apprenticeship standard qualification.
