About the Role

Are you passionate about building and nurturing business relationships? At The Sheffield College, we're looking for a dynamic and committed Employer Engagement Manager to join our Employer Engagement and Partnerships Team. In this pivotal role, you'll manage relationships with our existing clients while developing new business opportunities.

You will play a key role in implementing our sales and marketing strategy, promoting our core AEB portfolio alongside our broader apprenticeship and commercial offerings. Your efforts will help identify and secure new markets, growth areas, customers, and services across all product streams.

We seek a driven and confident professional with exceptional sales and relationship-building skills. Your success will significantly impact both employers and hundreds of young people across Sheffield.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Proactively plan and source business opportunities which meets sales targets.
  • Take full responsibility for the business development and sales in a number of markets across South Yorkshire. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximise customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Generate new leads and build relationships to establishing a new portfolio of clients
  • Work with our Marketing department on new and existing campaigns
  • Manage and develop relationships with new and existing clients
  • Build and maintaining strong working relationships with a portfolio of customers and proactively responding to new sales enquiries

Skills & Knowledge
