Reed in Partnership has been delivering public services since 1998. We are a British, family-owned company, whose mission has always been to positively transform people and their communities. This is reflected in our services, which we deliver to help people from all backgrounds and circumstances to change their lives for the better.

Pay Range

Do you have experience of working in a community outreach, engagement or sales environment?

Are you an outgoing individual who loves to network and build relationships within the community?

Consider the role of an Engagement Officer at Reed in Partnership

We are on a mission to be the partner of choice for developing people and their communities. Reed in Partnership is a public service provider specialising in skills training for the long-term unemployed, increasing employment opportunities by working with employers and providing youth services.

This role is working as part of the Work and Health Programme. The service gives people who face additional barriers to finding work the best support available. It is part of a wider package of support for jobseekers and people with disabilities and health conditions announced by the government and aims to bring jobseekers, support provision and employers together to provide greater opportunities for those looking for work.

What is the role about?

An Engagement Officer is responsible for raising awareness and promotion of the Reed in Partnership programmes within the community. This is done by utilising referral opportunities, attending events and partnering with local organisations to directly connect with individuals who may be interested and could benefit from our services.

Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Sell the programme and products to Partners and potential participants explaining the service offering, rights and responsibilities to participants.

  • Promote brand exposure and services at regional events and meetings

  • Seek out and maximise referral sources and repeat business

  • Co-ordinate partners' activities and ensure stakeholder engagement

  • Conduct Initial Assessments to understand participants' needs and barriers and how Reed in Partnership can support them.

  • Identify appropriate solutions and interventions for participants

  • Liaise with relevant partners to assist with barriers to employment.

What's in it for you?

A generous base salary (pro-rata for part time), and great flexibility with your working schedule, we offer training, development and progression opportunities. You will have access to the range of Reed in Partnership benefits, which include:

  • 25 days annual leave (pro-rata for part time) plus statutory bank holidays

  • Reed Pension Scheme

  • Award Winning Management & Leadership training

  • Professional & Personal Development Funds

  • Bi-annual pay reviews

  • Plus much more that can be found on our website

  • With the chance to dramatically make a difference to the local community, this role offers immense job satisfaction.

At Reed in Partnership, we live and breathe our values in every decision and action taken, resulting in a collaborative and enjoyable culture within our offices. Our company values - we are fair open and honest; we take ownership, and we work together.

Where possible we consider applications from candidates that require part-time hours, please discuss with your Talent Partner if this is something you require.
