Graduate Science Teaching Assistant – Candidate Specification

  • Graduate Science Teaching Assistant
  • Must have a 2:1 or higher in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field
  • Experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential
  • Passion for science education and helping students succeed academically

Graduate Science Teaching Assistant – Job Specification

  • Long-term, full-time Graduate Science Teaching Assistant role

This Graduate Science Teaching Assistant role is based at a high-performing secondary school in Manchester, with a focus on providing academic support in science subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

As a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering the science curriculum, either by assisting high-achieving students who are aiming for places at top universities or by working closely with students who are falling behind to help them improve their academic progress.
