Main duties of the job

The Residential Care Manager will be responsible for managing the group of Care Supervisors within the home, ensuring a high-quality delivery of personal care to residents. They will be an advocate for all residents, maintaining the best interest in all areas of the resident's wellbeing. Other key responsibilities include coordinating the resident assessment process, supporting and developing the team, and ensuring compliance with medication management and quality care auditing procedures.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus asaResidential Care Managerwill be tomanage the group ofCare Supervisors within the home ensuring thatahigh-qualitydeliveryofpersonal care is delivered to our residents.Youwill beanadvocate forall residents,maintainingthebestinterest in all areasofthe resident's wellbeing.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

Co-ordinating theresident assessmentprocess, ensuringthatthe planned careisaccurate andreflected in each individual care plan. Supporting,guiding,anddevelopingtheirteammembers. Managing the process of ensuring that all equipment is stored in line with the manufacturer'sinstruction and is cleanedandstored appropriatelyafteruse. Ensuringcompliance with theSafe Medication Management programme, with robust auditing procedures. UndertakingQualityCareSpotChecksreportingonthe qualityofcareprovidedbyCareSupervisors, CarersandSeniorCarers withintheir team.

NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent. A Minimum of two years' experience in long-termcareor similarindustry. Comprehensiveunderstandingof CQC Fundamental Standards. Experience in leading a team in a similar care environment.

Qualifications

Essential

NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent, a minimum of two years' experience in long-term care or a similar industry, and a comprehensive understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards.
