LGC Ltd is currently seeking an exceptional Operations Administrator to join our world-class team in London, UK. As an Administrative professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting the running of new research funding competitions and ensuring flawless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Identifying suitable dates and venues, and communicating with external event managers Organizing virtual meeting links on platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams Booking rooms, AV equipment, refreshments, and travel arrangements for in-person meetings Preparing meeting materials and ensuring onsite meeting rooms are appropriately set up Carrying out administrative tasks involved in running research funding programs Preparing and maintaining online documents, spreadsheets, and templates Organizing and managing online folders and filing structures Managing information through the Research Management Database Responding to mailboxes and helplines and communicating with important individuals Providing support for reception duties Covering reception over lunchtime and during the Receptionist's leave Answering telephone calls, greeting visitors, and ensuring compliance with safety requirements Assisting with onward travel arrangements for visitors and supporting meeting logistics Managing incoming and outgoing post

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Experience, and Technical Skills:

Minimum 12 months of experience in an administrative role Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including maths and English  Excellent interpersonal skills and command of written and spoken English Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a professional telephone demeanor Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping Demonstrated capability to work autonomously, adhere to guidelines, and actively seek innovative resolutions Determination to achieve goals and strive for improvements Effective planning, organizing, and time management skills Strong team working abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google suite

This is an office based, hybrid role, with an expectation for all employees attend our offices a minimum of 4 days a month (usually worked as 1 day per week) and may increase subject to team requirements. For roles involving reception duties, the minimum attendance requirement will be higher.
