The DataLoch Programme at the Usher Institute within The University of Edinburgh is looking for an Administrator to support data-driven research and innovation in health care.

The Opportunity:

This role will provide administrative support for all aspects of the DataLoch application process. The role holder will ensure an efficient, quality service to DataLoch customers and the internal DataLoch delivery team, and to coordinate functions across the team.

They will support enquiries, marketing and communication, and maintain accurate application records and will be responsible for ongoing project reporting.

Your skills and attributes for success:

Previous experience in an administration role. Experience of MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint). Experience in a customer facing role, supporting a technical team. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written, including excellent attention to detail when dealing with data and documentation.  The ability to maintain focus and provide efficient service under pressure and in a busy environment. An understanding of the education and/or health sectors. An understanding of research governance and data protection.
