Learning Support Assistants

A specialist secondary provision based in Rawtenstall area looking to hire additional support for their pupils and teaching staff. As a learning support assistant, you will be required to work on a full-time basis, Monday – Friday, 8:45am -3:45pm. Your role will be to provide high quality support for the pupils, this could be on a 1:1 basis, small group, or general classroom.

Requirements for the role

  • Available on a full-time basis.
  • Prior school / youth / care / support worker experience.
  • Able to apply for a child DBS (if you do not already have one on the update service).
  • Able to travel to and from Rawtenstall daily.

Key information

  • Secondary specialist provision- SEMH/ ASC/ MLD.
  • Competitive hourly rate of pay £12.90 p/h - £13.50 p/h.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30 pm.
