Group FP&A Manager - West Midlands

Stonegate Group is looking for a Group FP&A Manager to join our Finance Team.  The Group FP&A Manager will need to be an experienced finance professional to support the Head of Group FP&A and Director of FP&A with insight and analysis around key business initiatives. The role reports to the Head of Group FP&A and will be a key figure within the finance function.

The main objectives of the role are:

  • To deliver timely and accurate reporting on key financial performance metrics to Board-level and external stakeholders
  • To build and develop planning, forecasting and budgeting models in Anaplan which feed into an integrated group reporting suite. Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, modelling skills (ideally Anaplan-led), project management and business partnering will be crucial to success in this role and in driving the financial success of the business.
  • To partner with various departments within the organisation on strategic projects to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
  • To act as an advisor to the senior Finance leadership team, providing insights, analysis, and recommendations to drive revenue growth, cost optimisation, and operational efficiency

 

We're looking for the following experience, ideally from within Hospitality or a Retailing setting

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Significant experience as a Finance Manager or similar.
  • Strong financial analysis and modelling skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear and actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of principles involved in planning, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, ideally with experience in budgeting and forecasting within Excel
  • Experience of modelling in Anaplan or similar planning system (preferred, but optional)
  • A basic understanding of database structures (ideally experience using Snowflake)
  •  Ability to work in fast-paced & dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
