Job Overview

Gleeson Recruitment Group is excited to present an opportunity for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. The ideal candidate will spearhead the FP&A division, delivering valuable insights and collaborating with various teams to enhance organizational performance. Primary Responsibilities

The core responsibilities for this position include:

  • Overseeing the formulation and execution of the yearly budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Providing high-level financial analysis and insights to aid in decision-making across operational and executive tiers.
  • Working alongside department leaders to establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial benchmarks.
  • Performing variance analysis to pinpoint areas for enhancement, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction.
  • Preparing and delivering regular financial reports to senior leadership, emphasizing trends, risks, and potential opportunities.
  • Leading the development and refinement of financial planning systems and tools.
  • Assisting with strategic projects, mergers and acquisitions, and other special initiatives as needed.

Essential Qualifications

The essential qualifications for this role include:

  • A recognized accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable FP&A position.
  • Exceptional analytical and modeling capabilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial planning software.
  • Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
