Key Responsibilities

The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will play a crucial role within the Group Finance team, responsible for:

  • Leading the comprehensive planning process across the Group, which includes the annual budget and forecasts.
  • Enhancing decision-making capabilities by developing, implementing, and maintaining advanced models and process improvements to provide high-quality analytics, scenario analysis, and predictive planning.
  • Collaborating with executive stakeholders to produce management reports and variance analyses that support the company’s strategic objectives, both long-term and short-term.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with Finance teams across various business units to ensure uniformity in planning and performance reporting.
  • Executing month-end tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, and controls.
  • Leading the reporting, evaluation, and communication of financial outcomes while offering insights into business trends and initiatives.
  • Assisting in the preparation of a suite of monthly reports for Senior Management to provide enhanced analysis of business performance.
  • Implementing ongoing enhancements to the planning and analysis processes to deliver quicker and more accurate insights throughout the organization.
  • Supporting the Tarmac audit process.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are in search of a fully qualified ACA / ACCA / ACMA Accountant with at least three years of post-qualification experience in Financial Planning & Analysis.

  • Proven experience in people management and leadership.
  • Exceptional modeling, analytical, and data visualization capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and driving projects to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid technical financial expertise, ideally supported by a professional accounting qualification.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
  • Essential skills in BW and SAP, along with strong Excel proficiency.
  • Experience with HFM, Anaplan, or Power BI is advantageous for this role.
