Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with their shopping needs, providing product information, recommendations, and support.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system, including handling cash, credit, and debit card payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor by stocking shelves, arranging displays, and managing inventory.
- Assist with the setup and execution of promotional events, sales initiatives, and special in-store activities.
- Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges professionally and in accordance with store policies.
- Monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies or needs for restocking to management.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and ensure smooth store operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Participate in store meetings and training sessions to stay informed about new products, promotions, and company policies.
- Support other store functions as needed, including managing fitting rooms and assisting with store maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in retail or customer service is a plus.
- Previous experience in a retail or sales role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Basic proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and handling cash.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
