Job Title: Store Associate

Location: Bristol, UK

About the Position: We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Store Associate to enhance our retail operations in Bristol. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing an exceptional shopping experience by assisting patrons, upholding store standards, and facilitating daily tasks. Your passion for customer service will contribute significantly to our sales performance and the overall success of our establishment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist customers with their shopping inquiries, offering product insights and suggestions.
  • Handle transactions at the register, including cash management, card processing, and returns.
  • Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Restock merchandise on the sales floor, ensuring products are attractively displayed and easily accessible.
  • Assist in inventory oversight, including stock counts and organizing the storage area.
  • Address customer questions and resolve issues with a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Encourage customers to take advantage of ongoing promotions, special deals, and loyalty programs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Support the setup of promotional displays and in-store activities.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure shopping environment.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in retail or customer service is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm for the retail industry.
