Data Protection Associate - Permanent Position (3226)
Your new role
We are looking for a Data Protection Associate, working with the EMEA Data Protection team to ensure the compliance of the Eisai EMEA region and other Eisai entities based outside of the UK/EU with the GDPR and other applicable local data protection laws.
What are we looking for?
A degree in law, computer science or other area relevant to data protection, or equivalent. CIPP(E) (Certified Information Privacy Professional (Europe)) is advantageous but not required A second language (ideally French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, or Japanese) is advantageous but not required. Possess good experience and understanding alongside practical application of EU GDPR, UK GDPR and UK Data Protection Act. Previous experience in a compliance, data protection and/or privacy role required, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector. Knowledge of other applicable data protection laws is advantageous but not required Evidence of undertaking all or some of the following: data protection/ information security risk assessments vendor assessments compliance gap analysis data protection impact assessments legitimate interest assessments transfer impact assessments Excellent verbal and written communication skills (fluent in spoken & written English) with excellent presentation / negotiation skills. Able to communicate effectively across a matrix organisation. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and manage multiple deadlines. What we offer in return
