Job overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated physiotherapist to fill a band 6 rotational post (for 18 months) within the cardiorespiratory physiotherapy team at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.  This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced band 5 physiotherapist or band 6 therapist, with a specialist interest in paediatric respiratory physiotherapy to join our dynamic, forward thinking, and friendly team.  The team consists of a band 8 physiotherapist, seven full time band 7s and two general rotational band 6 physiotherapists, with a band 4 assistant. • Prior to commencing the on call rota, staff will be assessed against a respiratory competency with a senior respiratory therapist. This will be repeated on an annual basis to ensure a quality service is delivered
  • Be responsible for the supervision of assistants on a daily basis.
  • To be responsible for organising and planning own caseload to meet service and patient priorities. Readjusting plans as situations change/arise
