Position Overview
Join our esteemed Adult Cardiorespiratory Enhanced and Responsive Service (ACERS) as a Clinical Respiratory Physiotherapist at Band 6.
This is a remarkable opportunity for a dedicated Physiotherapist with a passion for chronic respiratory care to become part of our award-winning ACERS Service.
If you are interested in Cardiorespiratory Rehabilitation, managing patients with acute respiratory conditions at home, and providing long-term support for respiratory symptoms, this role is designed for you. We are looking for someone eager to enhance their understanding of chronic respiratory diseases among patients and healthcare professionals while embracing continuous professional development and service enhancement opportunities.
The position requires flexibility to work within a 7-day service, delivering respiratory clinical expertise in both acute and community environments. You may also have the opportunity to mentor other team members.
Key Responsibilities
This role provides a chance to collaborate with the ACERS Respiratory Service, engaging in both the Cardiorespiratory Rehabilitation program and the Acute Respiratory Infections Virtual Ward Team. You will gain valuable skills and experience in a dynamic field, focusing on quality improvement and service development that will benefit your career.
We prefer candidates with prior experience at Band 6 level, particularly those who have worked with patients suffering from chronic respiratory illnesses and in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
