An exciting fixed-term opportunity has arisen to work in the Workforce Information Systems Team at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust as our Interim Workforce Information & Planning Manager to cover a 12 month period of Maternity Leave.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has great technical skills and experience of working at a senior level to shape a strategic Workforce Information service.
Main duties of the job
As a workforce planning and Information manager you will take the lead on all aspects of the production and development of key workforce performance indicators and workforce information across the Trust.
This post offers an ideal opportunity to use workforce data to support improvement and decision making within a busy acute healthcare setting, to make a difference for staff and ultimately patient care.
The use of converting data into information to assist in strategic decision making is key to understanding opportunities for workforce transformation.
Strong communication, IT, numeracy, management and interpersonal skills are essential as you will be working closely with various stakeholders.
Working for our organisation
North Mid is part of North Central London integrated care system – consisting of the NHS and Local authority organisations in Camden, Islington, Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. As with other ICS’s, we are working increasingly closely with partners and indeed many of our financial and performance objectives are measured at this system level. Whilst all organisations remain as standalone, statutory bodies we have an ICS infrastructure for making shared decisions and agreeing shared approaches.
We are proud of our staff and want to ensure their training allows them to provide excellent clinical care. We are also a training unit for medical students from UCL and St George’s University Grenada, and for nursing and midwifery students from Middlesex and City Universities.
