Workforce Information Officer Level 6

The Workforce Information Officer is a business support role within small team that provides HR, Payroll, Workforce and Training data support to the organization. The post holder will support the effective resolution of HR and Workforce requests in a timely, accurate and customer-focused way. The accuracy of these processes will impact HR reporting Providing support to (Deputy Director of People) in developing accurate reports for Heads of Department or Senior Managers to understand data, with narrative utilized to support business processes and decision making. Responsible for the day to day HR Payroll activities working within agreed policies and procedures relevant to contractual processes accurately at all times and on a timely basis whilst adhering to strict payroll deadlines.
Knowledge of complex data analysis of metrics from various workforce systems, with ability to build and maintain regular and scheduled reports as well as responding to ad-hoc requests. Provide analytics using appropriate tools (e.g., Excel, SQL Server, Power Query, and Power BI) to extract, transform, query and present data from all workforce systems. To be the first point of contact within the HR department for data requests, including ad-hoc requests for intelligence information from managers, ensuring appropriate and accurate information is produced in a clear and understandable manner in compliance with GDPR. Support the preparation of weekly and monthly reports in a timely manner and build, maintain and demonstrate dashboards, reports and tools for internal and external customers Support to Senior HR Business Partner in the development or maintenance of a reporting system for coverage of the Essential Safety Training data Conduct regular audits to check and improve data accuracy.
Demonstrates education and qualifications from a quantitative and or numerate discipline or equivalent experience in information and data analytics and systems management. A recognized systems qualification and demonstrates skills in analytics using appropriate tools, ability to extract, analyze and provide narrative or resolution to workforce data Able to plan and organize a broad range of complex activities at any one time, balancing competing priorities
