OVERALL SUMMARY

This position is within the HR team at Close Brothers Asset Management. The area of responsibility for this role will be to manage the delivery of all reward and benefits activities and support in the delivery of the reward strategy.

The role will manage and oversee reward activities such as bonus and pay reviews, annual benefits processes and other reward projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • • Management of all cyclical reward and benefits processes and projects such as annual bonus and salary review, annual benefits processes and all relevant compensation schemes

    • Strategically review the effectiveness of existing reward schemes (e.g. bonus, LTIPs etc.) by engaging with the Head of HR and other senior stakeholders, making recommendations for change as appropriate.

    • Lead on the design, approval and implementation of new compensation schemes as needed, providing expert advice on remuneration regulation and reward constructs.

    • Overall management of all benefits including accountability for annual insurance renewals, selection of providers and benchmarking of benefits offering.

    • Effectively engage and promote benefits to support colleagues understand company benefits offering including total reward statements to ensure the value of the benefits is understood by colleagues.

    • Building and maintaining relationships with external benefit providers and benefit brokers.

    • Work closely with the Finance team to ensure that all benefits are correctly charged by providers and invoices are paid in a timely manner.

    • Complete compliance reporting, such as pay audits, national living wage audits and gender pay reviews.

    • Keep up to date with FCA legislation, HMRC legislation, pay forecasts, pension auto enrolment, and other regulatory requirements.  Keep up to date with business standards, policies and procedures, and ensure they are met.

    • Working with all teams across the business to ensure data is correctly maintained in the HR systems and challenging the data where necessary.

    • Provide support to HR team on any ad-hoc reward and benefits queries.

    • Preparation of RemCo papers and present to Exco as needed

  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role, whilst practising effective risk management taking account of outcomes for clients

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Proven experience and track record within a Reward and Benefits role
  • Knowledge of role benchmarking methodologies and carrying out job analysis.
  • Knowledge of FCA legislation and regulations regarding incentives, bonus schemes, pensions, GPG reporting, national minimum wage and tax.
  • Experience of managing relationships with third party benefit providers/broker
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience of working with large data reports (sometimes from multiple sources) and analysis of complex data
  • Excellent communication, interacting with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to present data clearly and in an understandable way
  • Good HR systems knowledge
