Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing the delivery of all reward and benefits activities and supporting the delivery of the reward strategy within the HR team at Close Brothers Asset Management.

The successful candidate will oversee reward activities such as bonus and pay reviews, annual benefits processes, and other reward projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee cyclical reward and benefits processes and projects, including annual bonus and salary review, annual benefits processes, and compensation schemes.
  • Strategically review the effectiveness of existing reward schemes and make recommendations for change as appropriate.
  • Design, approve, and implement new compensation schemes, providing expert advice on remuneration regulation and reward constructs.
  • Manage all benefits, including accountability for annual insurance renewals, selection of providers, and benchmarking of benefits offerings.
  • Effectively engage and promote benefits to support colleagues in understanding the company benefits offering, including total reward statements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external benefit providers and benefit brokers.
  • Work closely with the Finance team to ensure that all benefits are correctly charged by providers and invoices are paid in a timely manner.
  • Complete compliance reporting, such as pay audits, national living wage audits, and gender pay reviews.
  • Stay up-to-date with FCA legislation, HMRC legislation, pay forecasts, pension auto-enrolment, and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience and track record within a Reward and Benefits role.
  • Knowledge of role benchmarking methodologies and carrying out job analysis.
  • Knowledge of FCA legislation and regulations regarding incentives, bonus schemes, pensions, GPG reporting, national minimum wage, and tax.
  • Experience of managing relationships with third-party benefit providers/brokers.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience of working with large data reports and analysis of complex data.
  • Excellent communication and interaction with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to present data clearly and in an understandable way.
  • Good HR systems knowledge.
