The Role: Surf Desk Team Member



The
Surf Desk are responsible for enabling Surfers to get the most out of their
visit to the Resort, they play a critical role in creating the right first and
last impressions and enabling Surfers to enjoy their experience in a safe and
appropriate manner. They handle wetsuits, surfboards and other surf related kit whilst assisting our visitors with any aspect of their surf experience. An interest in the maintenance and technology of our equipment is a bonus. Experience in surfboard or wetsuit repairs is of course not a necessity, but it would be an advantage.



Role Overview



§ 
Delivering
the day to day Surf Desk Operation at the Lost Shore Surf Resort (LSSR),
Edinburgh.



§ 
Working
as the Team Member of the Surf Desk Team.



§ 
Accountable
for delivering a world class visitor experience in Surf Operations and ensuring
that everything is safe, hygienic and legally compliant.



§ 
Reporting
to the Surf Operations Manager (SOM), working with the Head Coach and the Head
Lifeguard.



Financial
Aspirations: Collaborating
with leadership to manage Surf Operations budget, optimize revenue streams,
understand operational systems, and uphold financial protocols across the Surf
Coach Team.



Visitor
Experience: Supporting
with Head Coach and Head Lifeguard to prioritise visitor satisfaction, exceed
expectations, and meet targets for repeat visitors by actively listening to
feedback, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring efficient operations
within budget constraints.



Working
as a Team: Fostering
a positive and adaptive work culture in collaboration with leadership, ensuring
effective communication, timely issue resolution, and adherence to
organizational policies and procedures within the Surf Coach Team.



Ways of Working: Maintaining a safe and compliant environment within Surf
Operations, including oversight of health and safety protocols, adherence to
licensing requirements, fostering a culture of safety, and providing leadership
in incident management and documentation.

Additional Information:



As
a Surf Desk Team Member you’ll need to be flexible with your schedule. Our
resort operates seven days a week, and early morning, late evening and weekend
work will be required. Your commitment to ensuring the resort’s smooth
operation during peak times is essential.
