As a Bookings Administrator you will:
Ensure complex administration and support, meets all of the Hospital's required standards and timescales.
Manage, appraise, and interpret data, information and /or situations.
Handle all enquiries, booking appointments and queries raised.
Ensure all data/information is entered, modified, maintained and presented accurately and efficiently, using the appropriate electronic or manual system and format.
Prepare standard and adhoc reports as requested and required by the department.
Provide professional patient and consultant liaisons, and be confident in doing so in person, by telephone and via email.
Manage Appointment bookings and change amendments.
Create, alter or cancel clinics and theatre lists as required to support business needs.
Be able to work autonomously, as well as part of a larger team.
As a Bookings Administrator you will have:
Previous experience working in a fast paced customer service environment.
Demonstrable the ability to prioritise and organise a workload of changing priorities in a constantly changing environment.
An excellent telephone manner.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong computer skills, including working with databases.
The ability to pay excellent attention to detail, to include producing patient correspondence and appointment confirmations.
A good understanding of the importance of policies and operating procedures.

At Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital, we work with leading medical Consultants to provide first-class treatments and high standards of care for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of medical and surgical conditions using the latest facilities and technology. We take pride in delivering high standards of patient care to both private patients and the NHS. Our facilities include 44 purpose built en-suite rooms, 3 operating theatres plus 1 endoscopy theatre. Other facilities include physiotherapy and a diagnostic department. We are located in Woodingdean, on the east side of Brighton with easy access by rail and road, including free parking.
