  • Assisting the SENCo and pastoral team in developing and implementing personalised support plans for students
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional well-being, using psychological insights to guide interventions and strategies

  • Assisting with behaviour management across the school, working with students to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting the wider school community, including participating in meetings with parents and carers, and contributing to the school's pastoral care system
  • Helping students prepare for exams, offering study support and stress management techniques

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • An empathetic, patient, and supportive approach, with the ability to adapt strategies to meet individual needs
  • Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly in a school or support setting, is desirable but not essential
  • A proactive and flexible attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A passion for working with young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning
