About the Job

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves spearheading the profitable expansion of our client's order intake within the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. This entails:

Orchestrating regional account plans and strategies. Unearthing major growth opportunities and leading the charge in developing compelling value propositions for our clients. Cementing strategic alliances with principal partners and decision-makers. Masterfully conducting sales and marketing operations of our SafePilot solution, staying true to the high standards of Trelleborg. Steering the tender and sales journey from inception to solution delivery, in collaboration with our software design and project management teams, ensuring both technical and commercial requirements are exceeded. Keeping a pulse on market trends, connecting to the market via social media / Linkedin, transforming insights into actionable business opportunities.

Key outcomes expected:

Revenue augmentation. Elevated customer satisfaction. Enhanced account profitability. Consistent engagement and communication.

Key responsibilities:

Targeting and engaging potential SafePilot clients within the region. Mapping out key influencers and decision-makers within these clienteles. Tailoring customer-centric strategies to unveil opportunities. Collaborating with the sales director to craft a robust EMEA strategy. Building and nurturing key relationships through a consultative approach. Proactively identifying and exploiting new market opportunities.

About the Ideal Candidate

we are on the lookout for a seasoned Sales Manager to enrich our ranks. This pivotal role beckons those with proven experience, eager to make a significant impact in the maritime industry, a realm where innovation and quality converge.

Vibrant and pioneering, with a knack for initiating action. Knowledge about Navigation & Piloting is a big plus. Agile, adept at navigating the ever-evolving landscape of our industry. A maritime pilot, always one step ahead in resolving potential hurdles. Driven and concentrated, with an unwavering focus on excellence. Ethical and professional, maintaining the highest standards of integrity under pressure. Geared towards solutions and achieving sales targets.

What you bring:

A minimum of 5 years in technical system sales, with a preference for experience in the Marine sector. Proven sales prowess, ideally with a background in navigation/positioning, IT, as Maritime Pilot, or related fields. Fluent in English, with additional EMEA regional languages considered a plus. A vibrant personality with a keen sense of cultural nuances. Willingness to travel extensively (50%) across the EMEA region. Ability to work remotely, demonstrating a structured and disciplined work ethic.
