Position Overview:

Director File is on the lookout for an experienced leader to join our growing technology risk assurance division at the Director level. This role offers a significant opportunity to shape the strategic direction and implementation of IT Audit initiatives.

As a global organization, we seek an individual who can guide the delivery of exceptional IT Audit services, particularly within the financial services sector. You will manage a team committed to upholding the highest standards of quality in our audit processes.

This position not only facilitates personal career growth but also allows you to be part of our national leadership team as we advance our business and support our audit operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Foster innovation in our audit delivery, emphasizing areas such as Advanced Data Analytics, IT Governance, Cyber Security, Technology Resilience, and Data Privacy.
  2. Design and scope technology-enabled audit strategies to effectively mitigate audit risks.
  3. Evaluate team outputs to ensure compliance with high-quality audit standards.
  4. Establish robust project and financial management practices across the team.
Leadership:

Lead a dedicated team managing a portfolio of IT audit projects. Collaborate with audit teams to strategically allocate resources, define audit scopes, and develop project plans to meet External Audit obligations. Partner with senior leadership to achieve and surpass quality benchmarks.

Client Service Excellence:

We are dedicated to providing outstanding client service. We are seeking a director who embodies this commitment, brings innovative ideas to enhance our service delivery, and serves as a primary point of contact for project-related matters.

Innovation and Development:

Contribute to the development of methodologies and internal guidelines. As a member of the leadership team, you will play a vital role in business development efforts, including leading proposals and engaging with potential clients. Build strong internal networks and relationships to support our initiatives.

Act as a representative of Director File, participate in industry events, and stay informed about our diverse service offerings. Share insights on the latest technological advancements with both the leadership community and our clients.

Technical Expertise:

Engage in IT General Controls and Business Process Control activities, integrating controls testing and data analytics into our audit framework. Assess the financial audit implications of IT risks and control deficiencies, manage cyber risks, and evaluate IT system implementation controls.
