Our client's technology risk assurance division is expanding, presenting an exceptional opportunity for a professional to join at the Director level.
This international organization seeks an individual capable of steering the strategic direction and execution of their IT Audit obligations for their portfolio of External Audits within the financial services industry, ensuring the delivery of superior quality work while nurturing the development of team members.
This role offers a chance to advance your career and become part of the national leadership team as the TRA division enhances its operations and supports the broader audit initiatives. This includes broadening your responsibilities to innovate our service delivery in areas such as Advanced Data Analytics, IT Governance, Cyber Security, Technology Resilience, and Data Privacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defining and organizing tech-enabled audit strategies to effectively mitigate audit risks.
- Evaluating the outputs produced by the team to uphold high audit quality standards.
- Instilling robust project and financial management practices across the team.
Leadership:
Oversee a team managing a range of IT audit projects. This involves collaborating with the audit team to strategically allocate resources, define audit scope, and create project plans necessary for fulfilling External Audit obligations. Partnering with senior leadership to meet high-quality benchmarks will be crucial to the success of this role.
Outstanding Client Service:
We take pride in our client service excellence. We are looking for a director who embodies this standard, brings innovative ideas to enhance our service delivery, and serves as a point of escalation throughout the engagement regarding project delivery issues.
Innovation:
Contribute to the formulation of methodologies and guidelines for internal use. As part of the leadership team, we seek an individual who can assist in our business development efforts. This will involve leading proposals and tender processes, including engaging with potential clients, drafting proposals, preparing bid documents, and fostering strong internal networks and relationships.
Act as a representative of the firm, engage in marketing initiatives, stay informed about the diverse range of services the firm provides, and propose innovative products and services. Continuously share the latest technological insights with the leadership community, our clients, and the teams.
IT General Controls & Business Process Control Activities:
- Incorporating Controls testing and Data Analytics into an external audit framework.
- Assessing the financial audit implications of IT risks and control deficiencies.
- Managing cyber risks and ensuring business resilience.
- Evaluating risks and controls associated with IT system implementations.
- Conducting IT Governance and IT Compliance Reviews.
- Reviewing Privacy Policies.
