Head of Technology Risk Audit

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a seasoned professional to join their expanding technology risk assurance division at the Director level. This role is pivotal in steering the strategic execution of IT Audit responsibilities within the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing technology-driven audit strategies to effectively manage audit risks.
- Reviewing team outputs to ensure adherence to high-quality audit standards.
- Establishing strong project and financial management practices within the team.
Leadership Role:
Lead a team responsible for a variety of IT audit projects. This includes collaborating with the audit team to allocate resources strategically, define the scope of audits, and create comprehensive project plans to meet external audit requirements. Working closely with senior leadership to achieve high-quality outcomes is essential for success in this position.

Innovation and Development:
Contribute to the development of methodologies and guidelines for internal application. As part of the leadership team, you will play a crucial role in business development efforts, including leading proposals and tender processes, engaging with potential clients, drafting proposals, and building strong internal networks.
Act as a representative of the organization, participate in marketing initiatives, stay updated on the diverse services offered, and propose innovative solutions. Continuously share the latest technological insights with the leadership community, clients, and team members.
IT General Controls & Business Process Oversight:
- Integrating controls testing and data analytics into the external audit framework.
- Evaluating the financial audit implications of IT risks and control weaknesses.
- Managing cyber risks and ensuring organizational resilience.
- Assessing risks and controls related to IT system implementations.
- Conducting IT Governance and Compliance Reviews.
- Reviewing and assessing Privacy Policies.
