The role of Substance Misuse Practitioner - Willow Team is an excellent opportunity to join a highly communicative and multi-disciplinary team of professionals, who are working to directly address the needs of children and young people.
Main Duties and Accountabilities
Providing integrated, targeted, and specialist structured treatment interventions for young people under 18 years of age, who are referred to the service under the supervision of the Catch22 and Willow management teams. Providing targeted and specialist interventions, through 1:1 and group work, for young people who are identified via triage, assessment, and care planning. Providing sustained support to a pre-defined case load of young people. Providing consultation, information, and informal training to the Willow staff team, around substances, to enable them to deliver low-level interventions to young people (who may not reach the threshold for referral into each service, but who would benefit from an early intervention alongside the core delivery offer). Offering a flexible and adaptive approach, to support evening and weekend working, where required.
