We are thrilled to announce an opportunity to join our growing team as a Youth Substance Support Specialist. This position focuses on providing impactful assistance to young individuals, specifically in the Hampshire area, aiming to enhance their overall well-being.
In this role, you will offer specialized, focused support to youth up to the age of 25, delivering confidential and impartial advice regarding substance use, including drugs and alcohol. Utilizing a range of therapeutic methods, you will guide them towards healthier choices.
While the challenges may be significant, the rewards are immense. The services provided by our specialists have demonstrated a tangible impact on the lives of those we serve. Feedback from last year indicated that 100% of participants were satisfied with our services, with 98% feeling more empowered to make positive life decisions. Additionally, 86% reported improvements in their mental health, and 91% of clients under 18 exited the program with favorable outcomes, such as reduced risks or enhanced circumstances.
Alongside a thorough training program provided by Catch22, you will have the chance to further develop your skills through various additional training opportunities offered by Hampshire County Council. This position also allows for the establishment of networks and collaboration with a variety of partner organizations and stakeholders within the substance misuse sector.
