The Role: NMP Health and Wellbeing Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our multidisciplinary approach, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical interventions to individuals impacted by substance use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, recovery workers, and allied health professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to client care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to determine appropriate treatment plans, including opiate substitute prescribing and alcohol detoxification.
  • Prescribe and review medication, adhering to best practices guidelines and ensuring the safety and well-being of each client.
  • Offer health and wellbeing interventions, providing guidance and support tailored to individual needs.
  • Facilitate blood borne virus (BBV) screening and vaccinations, contributing to the overall health improvement of clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and treatment plans.
