About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join our dynamic team at Inclusion Recovery Hampshire.

As a leading community drug and alcohol service provider, we are committed to delivering exceptional care and support to individuals dealing with substance use issues.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality clinical interventions, including opiate substitute prescribing, alcohol detoxification, and relapse prevention medication, health and wellbeing interventions, and blood-borne virus screenings and vaccinations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, recovery workers, managers, and allied health colleagues to ensure a multidisciplinary approach and facilitate safe and positive outcomes for service users.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of service users to determine appropriate treatment plans, including opiate substitute prescribing and alcohol detoxification.
  • Prescribe and review medication, including opiate substitutes and alcohol detox medications, following best practices guidelines.
  • Offer health and wellbeing interventions, providing guidance and support tailored to individual needs.
  • Facilitate BBV screening and vaccinations, contributing to the overall health improvement of service users.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and treatment plans.
