Role

This Client Accountant Role will help the Firm scale the finance function, put new processes in place and refine existing ones. This role will work closely with Head of Finance put in providing support for a growing team. Please find a brief outline of the role below.

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across all clients and to the business working closely with the UK finance team.
  • Reconciling bank statements and other financial records.
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records for clients.
  • Managing client accounts and ensuring timely payments.
  • Ensure all controls and transactions are in line with statute and relevant standards in addition to that of the client money policy, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), ARLA Property mark and where applicable the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
  • Assess, report and act on risk and compliance issues within the department. Work with the compliance team to establish and formulate the Risk Register and ensure the client accounts team are updated on a regular basis.
  • Assess and report key performance and management information.
  • Leading, managing and developing the client accounting function.
  • Lead relevant projects and assist with tasks for the Lettings Leadership team.
  • Ensure that operating procedures are clearly defined/documented, process mapped, communicated and trained across the department.

Profile

The Client Accountant for this Real Estate Firm is ideally looking for

  • A Qualified Accountant (ACA) with 2-3 Years experience as an Audit Manager
  • Exposer to Client Money
  • Able to commute to Richmond 4 days a week

Salary & Benefits

Salary is bench marked £70,000 to £80,000 on experience. Additionally, there is a Discretionary bonus the role is currently operating with a 4 day a week. The business also offers a wide range of benefits such as private medical, dental cover and also various social events.
