A successful and growing FMCG business in Manchester.

Your new role
An Interim Finance Manager role, reporting to the Financial Director and leading a small team of staff. You will be responsible for all management reporting and external statutory reporting in a timely manner. Ensuring month-end procedures and timelines are adhered to. You will support the FD in the preparation of the financial statements and be the primary contact for the external audit. Yu will also manage the payroll process and deliver tax returns as required. You will constantly review processes and procedures and make recommendations for improvements. Lead and develop a small team of staff, constantly increasing operational output and standards.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant, with previous experience in a Finance Manager role, in a fast-moving environment. You will have broad technical experience, across management and financial accounting and enjoy leading and developing a team of staff. You will be highly IT literate and enjoy improving processes and systems to enhance the quality of management information. You will be available at short notice and happy to commit to an interim role for six months.
