Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and driven Financial Director to lead our financial operations and contribute to our company's continued success. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in the construction sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Provide monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis to forecast, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Tax Compliance: Responsibility for preparation and submission of HMRC returns (VAT, PAYE, CIS) and any relevant queries arising.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement weekly KPI reporting, including sales performance and short-term cash flow, to inform business decisions.
- Audit and Compliance: Manage annual audit and preparation of statutory returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Operational Efficiency: Develop and improve systems to support operational efficiency across the organization, driving business growth and profitability.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in the construction sector. Previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success, is highly desirable.
