We are looking for

an individual to join our large department to deal with an expanding workload. The Trust is the regional centre for otolaryngology, major head and neck surgery, skull base surgery, major ear surgery and hearing implantation. The post is for one year initially, but may be extendable or may become a substantive position after one year.

The post would suit a doctor who has completed core surgical training (or equivalent) and has experience in ENT.

It is also anticipated that the successful candidate will contribute to the academic, research and teaching aspects of the posts as it is based within the major regional teaching hospital.

Clinical duties include outpatient clinics, operating and emergency care. These activities occur in the University Hospitals Bristol precinct. The successful candidate will be expected to comply with all relevant Trust policies relating to administration of patient care. b) Management and Leadership Responsibilities The management responsibility of the post-holder will be to the departmental clinical lead and the Divisional Clinical Chair who is responsible to the Chief Executive and Trust Board.
