We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Learning Facilitator to work alongside our class teachers in supporting children with their learning.

As a Support Learning Facilitator, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children, working in a variety of different schools and with children of different ages and abilities.

The role involves working closely with the class teacher to provide support to the children, as well as managing the behaviour of pupils and de-escalating situations within the classroom.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a calm and reassuring nature, as well as a positive attitude and a flexible and enthusiastic approach to your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work alongside the class teacher in supporting children with their learning
  • To manage the behaviour of pupils whilst they undertake their work and ensuring a constructive and positive environment is always enforced
  • To de-escalate situations within the classroom in the correct way, ensuring that safeguarding procedures are always adhered to
  • To carry out small group work and work with children with additional needs
  • To report any safeguarding concerns using the school's referral procedures and safeguarding policies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
