Main duties of the job

Undertake nursing assessment and evaluation to enabledevelopment of appropriate plans of care based on the needs of the individual Be able to work under own initiative andwithout direct supervision Beproficient in the delivery of care to patients Ensure safeadministration of drugs in accordance with NMC and CHS policies Ensure accurate records are kept inaccordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines Carry outnursing procedures and techniques in accordance with agreed policies andstandards Undertakeregular mandatory training*

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Oncology Band 6

Trust: East and North Hertfordshire NHS Foundation Trust

Location: Lister, Mount Vernon

Pay Rates: £ - £ Per hour.

East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust works across hospital sites, providing a full range of services, including specialist care in urology, renal medicine, cancer, plastic surgery and ophthalmology. Hertfordshire has the best of both worlds, surrounded by beautiful countryside but with good road and rail links to both London and Cambridge, as well as comprehensive bus services across the main towns, including to and from all of the Trust sites.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

What you'll need:

A minimum of 6 months paid experience within an oncology ward environment within the last 3 years Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
