Main duties of the job

As a newly registered nurse you will participate as a member of the nursing team to provide a high standard of research-based care, support the team of staff working in the area to deliver a quality service which is linked to high standard of patient care and support the Sisters / Charge Nurses and Senior Sister / Charge Nurse in the training and development of junior staff.

A Band 5 to Band 6 fast-track scheme which gives our Band 5 nurses all the skills and competencies they need to enable them to be ready for Band 6 opportunities that arise, with full training to support this development.

An annual appraisal scheme.

Commitment and participation in a clinical excellence accreditation framework.

You will be required to complete a full application with personal statement, sit a formal interview and assessment process.
