Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Administrative Assistant to join our admin team in the Hull 0-19 Integrated Public Health Nursing Service. We are looking to recruit a friendly, enthusiastic, motivated person to join our administration team.

You will provide administrative/secretarial support to clinical teams/support services within standard administrative procedures and contribute to the planning and development of the service as a member of the team. There will be a need to travel to locality bases within the city.

This role is varied and you will need to have the ability to work as part of a team and use your initiative in day to day tasks along with having good communication skills to deal with telephone enquiries. You will work with the clinical team to meet the needs of the service.

The service is operational between and 5pm Monday to Friday

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role include -

To provide administrative support to clinical teams/support serviceswithin standard administrative procedures and contribute to theplanning and development of the service as a member of the team. To induct and supervise less experienced staff. To support the engagement of children, young people and families who access the service. To identify and resolve team data quality issues. There will be a requirement to provide a service between am pm over a 5 day Monday - Friday period, to meet the needs ofchildren and young people and service delivery.

Qualifications and Knowledge

Essential

Knowledge of a range of work procedures and practices 3 or more GCSE/O levels which must include English and Maths Advanced keyboard skills: RSA/OCR III or equivalent/Advanced ECDL Working knowledge of Electronic Care Records such as SystmOne or Lornezo

Experience

Demonstrable experience of practice and procedures relevant to the area of work Knowledge and experience of IT systems Sytem1, Lorenzo, ESR, health roster, oracle, Microsoft
