RSK Utility Consulting, part of the RSK Group is looking to appoint a Trainee Utilities / Utilities Consultant in their offices near Ipswich on a full time, permanent basis.
As part of the RSK Group, we provide support to multiple clients across the world, providing support to multiple clients within the Housing, Commercial & Industrial and the Low Carbon and Renewable sector to help them get their projects connected to the network and supporting the transition to a Zero Carbon electricity network.
Responsibilities:
- Working with clients to understand their requirements.
- Liaising with Utilities on pricing, milestones, payments, etc.
- Company point of contact for client communications.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the utilities. planning, design and delivery teams.
- Completing applications and managing the application process.
- Engaging proactively with Utilities.
Requirements:
- A strong communicator and relationship builder, able to bring out the best in others.
- Naturally well organised and detail oriented, proficient in the IT which makes your world run smoothly.
- Self Motivated, with a love for process and seeing things through to conclusion.
- A team player with the ability to think and work independently.
- Passionate about Renewables and Low Carbon technologies and the role they play in our future.
- Experienced in Renewables and/or DNO OR nearer the start of your career – either way you will be looking for a serious career opportunity in this sector.
- Holder of a full driving license & own car.
Salary & Benefits:
