OurPeople (HR) Assistant vacancy:

Weare recruiting for a HR Assistant to join a team to undertake dailyadministrative and HR duties within an organisation. This involvesmaintaining and updating the HRIS onboarding new employees ensuringthat legislative requirements are upheld in terms of eligibility towork checks are completed in the correct fashion and supporting theFinance team with Payroll information. The role will be a keycontact for the business supporting on recruitment adverts updatingour applicant tracking system and ensuring that job offers are sentout efficiently andaccurately.


HRAssistant Responsibilities

HRAssistant have a number of responsibilities which they mustcomplete on a daily basis:

  • Assistingwith general employee processes such as hiring recruiting vettingcandidates and assisting with interviews
  • Compiling and organising papers digitalemployment records such as holidays and sick pay
  • Supporting HR related training programs andworkshops
  • Writing and submitting reports ongeneral HR daily activities
  • Sitting in HRevents and meetings as well as coordinating management employeemeetings
  • Continually learning the latest andbest HR practices to improve workplace efficiency
  • Supporting our compliance with ISO standardsprocesses
  • Supporting the office managers toensure Health & Safety requirements aremet

Personspecification

  • Aminimum of 2 years professional experience in an advisory role witha proven track record of successful project management anddelivery.
  • Knowledge of talent acquisitionemployment law and employeeengagement
  • Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills with the ability to produce concise employeecorrespondence to high standards.
  • Ability touse Microsoft Office package (Word Excel Outlook Email MicrosoftTeams)
  • Proactive and a completer finishermentality.
  • Effective project managementskills.
  • Resilient and adaptable to a foreverevolving business
  • Competency in HR software anddigital tools (HRIS Engagement Tools Digital design is desirable)
