This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices near Leamington Spa, Warwickshire where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.
Reporting to the Head of Test Operations, you will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating the activities of the internal test team, at both Vehicle and Rig level. This role will work in collaboration with the Vehicle Development and Engineering Team to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of all required test activities.
What you will do:
- Defining our Instrumentation & Measurement strategy, and expand our capabilities.
- Planning, coordinating, and leading the activities of the team, across multiple projects & programmes in parallel.
- Overseeing the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation & measurement systems.
- Liaising with key stakeholders across multiple departments to communicate project requirements, progress, and issues.
- Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and with the appropriate quality and safety standards.
- Building a database of instrumentation & measurement equipment and ensure all calibration requirements and schedules are adhered to.
- Manage Team CAPEX & OPEX alongside Team Resourcing profile
Who you are:
- Experience in an Automotive / Motorsport Instrumentation Management position, ideally from the automotive/manufacturing industry
- Experience in Vehicle Development / Motorsport
- Engineering / Instrumentation / Measurement Qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience in leadership of a small team
- Eye for detail and a desire to deliver to a high standard
- Strong Leadership & Fosters a positive Team Culture
