This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices near Leamington Spa, Warwickshire where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

Reporting to the Head of Test Operations, you will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating the activities of the internal test team, at both Vehicle and Rig level.This role will work in collaboration with the Vehicle Development and Engineering Team to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of all required test activities.

What you will do:

      • Developing and implementing test strategies, methodologies, and plans to ensure the efficient delivery of vehicle & Rig based testing.
      • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements, both facility & equipment, and identify test cases.
      • Leading and managing a team of test engineers, providing guidance, support and personal development.
      • Conducting regular meetings with stakeholders to communicate project statuses, identify risks, and propose solutions
      • Assisting and supporting in the analysis of test results and collaborate with the vehicle development team to identify issues and offer countermeasures / solutions
      • Monitoring and tracking testing progress, providing regular reports to management and stakeholders
      • Managing Team CAPEX & OPEX alongside Team Resourcing profile

Who you are:

  • Experience in an Automotive Development / Motorsport Leadership position
  • Experience in Vehicle Development / Motorsport
  • Engineering / Motor Vehicle / Motorsport Qualification or equivalent experience
  • Experience in leadership of a small team
  • Eye for detail and a desire to deliver to a high standard
  • Strong Leadership & Fosters a positive Team Culture
