Forseven, a revolutionary company looking to transform the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, is seeking an exceptional Head of Test Operations to join our highly skilled and dynamic Engineering team. This pivotal role will operate out of one of our offices near Warwick or Oxford, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

What you will do:

Reporting to the VP of Vehicle Engineering, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the strategy and running the vehicle test and development facilities. You will be overseeing the entire test operations department including internal facilities and external partnerships with the test houses. This will include planning growth strategy to support the bsiness needs now and in future.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the test operations team
  • Define the comprehensive test operations and strategy
  • Management of test operations projects and facilities
  • Planning and coordination of all activities to support testing requirements of stakaholders
  • Budgeting and timing responsibility

We would like you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Great experience in automotive testing and validation, with a strong background in electric vehicles
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize competing demands
  • Extensive knowledge of test methodologies, tools, and equipment used in automotive testing
  • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and certification processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
