Job Title: Head of Manufacturing Operations

Ricardo's Performance Products division is seeking a seasoned manufacturing professional to lead our high precision machine shop and assembly teams. As Head of Manufacturing Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, on-time delivery, and costs of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a large team of machine and assembly technicians, inspection, manufacturing engineers, programmers, and production control professionals.
  • Direct reports include Production Managers for Machining and Assembly, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Production Control Manager, and Maintenance Manager.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve performance in all areas of the business, including quality, delivery, and costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement new processes and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with quality systems for automotive and aerospace industries.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable track record of leading large, skilled manufacturing teams to enhance overall business performance.
  • Strong people management skills to communicate and motivate team members towards improvement.
  • Experience in planning and organizing, with the ability to implement new processes and tools.
  • Strong understanding of business KPIs and improving performance in all areas.
  • Knowledge of machine shop processes and quality systems for automotive or aerospace industries.
