About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Manufacturing and Quality to join our team at Motorsport-Total GmbH. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our manufacturing operations and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a large team of manufacturing professionals, including machine and assembly technicians, inspection, manufacturing engineers, programmers, and production control.
  • Direct reports include Production Managers for Machining and Assembly, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Production Control Manager, and Maintenance Manager.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve overall performance, including quality, on-time delivery, and costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with quality systems, including automotive and aerospace standards.
  • Champion Health and Safety initiatives and lead business change efforts.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable track record of leading large, skilled manufacturing teams to improve overall performance.
  • Strong people management skills to communicate and motivate team members.
  • Experience in planning and organizing, with the ability to implement new processes and tools.
  • Strong understanding of business KPIs and improving performance in all areas.
  • Knowledge of machine shop processes and quality systems.
  • Experience in a low volume, batch machine shop environment.
  • Managing large skilled teams on multiple shifts.
