To support the key functions of the Air business by providing engineering services as and when required.

Duties Include-

  • Complete allocated jobs within the agreed timescales.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately and submit on the electronic system in live time.
  • Ensure all documentation is correctly completed
  • Tasks to be carried out in accordance Hydro X procedures/method statements.
  • Maintain and promote Health and Safety standards within the team, to sub-contractors, and to clients to company standards and procedures.
  • Make sure works are being carried out correctly and in a safe manner
  •   Plan to ensure work as scheduled is completed on time, and to maximum efficiency.
  • Liaise with client representatives as required.
  • Report any pertinent issues to your manager or client representative as appropriate.
  • At all times adhere to the clients specific Health and Safety/Safe Working practices.
  • Ensure all equipment used is safe and fit for purpose
  • To ensure all work is completed in compliance with current legislation and documented at all times
  • To complete all tasks identified as the responsibility of the Water remedials Engineer to the total satisfaction of the client.
  • Tasks to be carried out in accordance Hydro X procedures/method statements.
  • Maintain and promote Health and Safety standards within your team, to sub contractors, and to clients to company standards and procedures.
  • Comply with current Water regulations

Day-Day Duties Include-

  • Flushing / chlorination of buildings/ pipework (closed circuits)
  • Plumbing tasks, Deadleg removal/flexible hose removal etc.
  • Tank Cleaning and chlorination works
  • Filtration service and install
  • TMV service and replacement
  • Cooling tower clean and service
  • Dosing systems service and install
  • Internal calorifier inspection
  • Endoscopic inspection
  • Injection pipework chlorination works
  • Copper /silver ionisation works
  •   Closed circuit flushing and dosing
  • Media Changes
  • Solid dosing installs and commissioning
  • Service, install and commissioning odd specialist one off systems
  • Electrical installs (only by accredited personnel)
  • RPZ service work and install (only by accredited personnel)
  • Some water hygiene monitoring and sampling

Requirements

  • Certified Plumbing Qualification
  • Experience within Air Hygiene Engineering
