Job Summary

Hydro-X Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Remedial Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Regional Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our ventilation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of ventilation systems to ensure compliance with BS9999 and other relevant regulations.
  • Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of passive fire stopping and fire dampers, including ductwork modifications.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Provide written reports and recommendations for major repairs and equipment upgrades.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and tasks.
Requirements
  • Proficient knowledge of ventilation systems management, fire damper testing, and passive fire stopping.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recognized qualification in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, fire safety).
  • Experience working in a similar role, with a focus on ventilation systems and fire safety.
